• To ensure continued provision of railway line services by maintaining, upgrading and rehabilitating aged railway line sections.
The Program Activities are further listed as:
• Design, Construct, Maintain, Rehabilitate and Upgrade Railway Network;
• Establish Sleeper production facilities, additional Rolling Stock Maintenance & Technical Training.

Establish concrete sleeper factory in Usakos
Create jobs, training and skills transfer
Contribute to the transformation of the railway and infrastructure industrialization sector in Namibia and SADC
Namibia Transport Infrastructure Improvement Project
To contribute to reduction of poverty and boost economic growth through addressing bottlenecks in the transport infrastructure.
To promote linkages of the Walvis Bay seaport to the hinterland and to the neighboring countries, to support Namibia’s HPP and Vision 2030.
